Abstract

Education is an important factor for every human being which aims to develop potential and make individuals better educated. The implementation of education certainly requires teaching staff who are tasked with teaching, whether teaching in formal or non-formal education. We conducted Real Work Lectures (Kukerta) in Beringin village, Talang Muandau sub-district, Bengkalis district. Our aim of conducting Kukerta in the village is to provide community service and help improve the education of the village's children. The enthusiasm and enthusiasm for learning of the children of Beringin village is very high, but the teaching staff in the village is very limited, making it an obstacle for these children to obtain an education. Thus, this article has the title Optimizing the Role of Kukerta Students as Teaching Personnel in Improving Education in Beringin Village. Apart from using the Library Research (LR) method, this research also carried out field observations to see the potential and problems that exist in Beringin village. The results of the Kukerta activities provide an illustration of the enthusiasm and enthusiasm expressed by children and the community regarding the role of students as teaching staff in helping education in Beringin village
