Abstract

Education is the main factor that determines the continuity of development. Apart from that, education is very important for every human being because all forms of progress, both information technology, social and cultural, can be achieved with the availability of educational institutions. Responding to the importance of education, all components of the nation are required to be able to master various knowledge that can be applied in everyday life. One way to increase students' interest in learning starts from how to educate parents at home and the habits of the students themselves. If parents always pay attention and always tell their children to study at the same time every day, it will become a habit for the child. If they already like learning, students' interest in learning will increase from within them. Then improve student learning by providing motivation so that they are not lazy about studying. In this way, Real Work Lecture (KUKERTA) students carry out various work programs that can support the children of Jembatan 2 Village to become active again and want to learn like children in general. Service Learning Service-Learning (SL) or Experiential Learning was introduced by John Dewey as a field learning model. The aim of this SL learning model is to train servants to have knowledge about real situations in society and the ability to overcome them, as well as to form character, especially so that they have an awareness of compassion or care for the weak and marginalized (preferential option for the poor). The implementation of the KKN program in Tantani Village, Bathin Solapan District for approximately two months was a series of interconnected activities between coordinators and implementers so that activities could be realized successfully.
